Contract Staffing
Contracting temporary lawyers and paralegals has become a popular way for companies and law firms to obtain the experience they need without assuming the “carrying costs” such as taxes, benefits and insurances along with other commitments of a permanent new hire.
Hourly rates for attorneys and highly skilled paralegals will depend upon many factors. While technical experience and subject matter knowledge will generally be a leading consideration, this does not necessarily mean that an attorney will request a higher hourly rate. At the same time, while we expect that our rates will be lower than our competitor’s rates, we will not compromise our candidates. They are every bit the “exceptional” candidate that we say they are and serve our clients exceedingly well. When it comes to fixing an hourly rate, what you will find is that we are able to keep our bill rates lower than most of our competitors because our margins are typically lower than our competition.
There are many benefits of hiring legal professionals on a temporary basis, all generally equating to the maximization of resources by staffing according to need no matter the level of practice area sophistication or staffing duration. Your vacancy may be anticipated as several weeks such as one brought on by family leave or sabbatical, or it may be several months such as brought on by a long-term disability.
We search for and recruit contract professionals through the same process as outlined in our Contingency Search Program. Marie Seinko who is available at Maries@inhouseonly.com handles candidate payrolling.
